Coronavirus: More than 30 cases in India

The novel coronavirus outbreak, or COVID-19, has spread rapidly across more than 80 countries. And India is one of the newest countries to get hit. At least 29 people have tested positive for the virus, thankfully three have already recovered. Delhi, Jaipur bad Hyderabad remaining the virus hub. As a precautionary measure, few schools in Noida would stay closed for a fortnight. Modi cancels Holi Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "there is no need to panic" earlier this week on Twitter and advised the public that the government is "working together" to stop the virus from spreading further. Modi also said he would not attend next week's Holi celebrations because of advice from experts to avoid mass gatherings. Holi festivities at the presidential palace were also canceled. Globally, there have been over 95,400 cases of novel coronavirus. At least 3,200 people have died so far — the majority of them in China. Infections have steadily risen in Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea. No need to panic Personal hygiene is the best way to beat the virus. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (sing Happy Birthday twice), don’t touch your face and drink lots of water. Sun is the best sanitiser. Play in the sun for at least 10 minutes in a day to kill all those germs. Stay clean, stay healthy.

Modi cancels Holi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said “there is no need to panic” earlier this week on Twitter and advised the public that the government is “working together” to stop the virus from spreading further.
