Delhi caught in riots over CAA protests

More than 25 people were killed, including a policeman, and many injured when clashes broke out in Northeast Delhi. The protesters have been going on for a while after the establishment of Citizenship Amendment Act in the Parliament. But the protests took a violent turn in Delhi last week. The clashes first broke out on Sunday between protesters for and against the citizenship law. Seelampur, Jafrabad and Maujpur were the worst-affected areas. Curfew has been imposed in the affected area, and even the High Court of Delhi has asked the police and the government to take strict action.
