Hello 2020! What the year has in store for us

It’s the start of the new decade. Besides being a leap year, 2020 is special in many other ways. There are a lot of exciting events and moments to keep you engaged. And you can add your special moments too… Sports Love sports? Welcome to 2020! While the regulars like Wimbledon, Chess and Golf tournaments would keep you busy, your schedule is going to be super tight which Summer Olympic Games, Euro Cup and ICC T20 Championship. This is a year for football and cricket lovers as UEFA Championship League and Women’s Cricket T20 too would be held this year. So sports enthusiasts, keep you popcorn ready! Entertainment movies and music If sports couldn’t keep you tied up to your seats, the awesome line up of the movies would surely do that. Doolittle, Scoob, Trolls, Peter Rabbit, Spongebob, Minions, Croods, Tom and Jerry and even Dragons are knocking at the doors of this exciting year. And these are just few in the list, the number of adventurous flicks goes on forever! And that’s not it. Music lovers, keep your headphones ready as Selena Gomez, Kesha and many others bring our their new albums. Science It’s an exciting year for science. While space is not a limit, scientists would also be working on genetics and ways to fight climate change. Mars would be the ‘It Destination’ with NASA’s Mars 2020 Rover planned to be launched later this year. Indian space agency ISRO too would be working on its indegenious spacecraft. We are also hopeful that scientists would be able to gain progress in the fight with cancer. Politics While the world is still watching how India deals with the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, there are more important global events in store for the year 2020. The US would decide if President Donald Trump would stay in the White House or go back to the Trump Towers. With the impeachment controversy, the presidential race in the USA has become interesting. We would also see if Britain could clean its Brexit mess. We also hope that peace returns to Hong Kong.
