Delhi caught in riots over CAA protests
More than 35 people were killed, including a policeman, and many injured when clashes broke out in Northeast Delhi.
The protesters have been going on for a while after the establishment of Citizenship Amendment Act in the Parliament. But the protests took a violent turn in Delhi last week.
The clashes first broke out on Sunday between protesters for and against the citizenship law.
Seelampur, Jafrabad and Maujpur were the worst-affected areas. Curfew has been imposed in the affected area, and even the High Court of Delhi has asked the police and the government to take strict action.
