10 YO Mini-Monet donates all earnings to charity
A 10-year-old British girl, who has been dubbed as mini-Monet, received an astounding amount for her painting, and donated it for charity!
Daisy Watt started painting only four years ago when two of her grandparents were diagnosed with cancer and she painted a picture to cheer them up. She painted a picture of her garden for them. But when her mother Karen realised how talented she was, she asked her to colour another canvas for a local gallery.
That was a start. Daisy’s paintings always feature flowers and she loves nothing more than heading out of her studio and into the garden with her paints, which in the beginning were tester pots from the local DIY shop. She earned more than £50,000 for her paintings and donated all her money for charity.
She’s called mini-Monet because of her love for landscape.
Oscar-Claude Monet was a French painter, a founder of French Impressionist painting and most famous for his expressions of nature and landscape on his canvas.
