It was a strange event after all, so no surprise test the results were also strangely different. Bayern Munich won their sixth Champions League title against Paris Saint-Germain in Lisbon. But what’s most spectacular is that they didn’t lose a single match in the whole tournament. They won all their 11 Champions League matches this season, an unprecedented feat. They scored 43 goals in that time on a run that included a 7-2 win at Tottenham Hotspur and the stunning 8-2 demolition of Barcelona in the quarter-finals in Lisbon. Hansi Flick's team has everything a champion needs. Once they grabbed the lead against PSG in the 59th minute through Paris-born Kingsley Coman, Bayern never looked like letting their strong grip slip. It was Bayern's first European title since 2013. The team has won six European Cups!
