Football fans gear up for some fun this season. With the transfer window closed and main clubs getting mostly what they desired, the Champions League and other tours are going to be an entertaining affair. The most speculated story about the transfer though remains of Brazilian player Neymar Jr. While Barcelona tried hard to buy him off, the deal fell through because of transfer fee. The 27-year-old forward would stay, for now, with Paris Saint Germain. Read below for major transfers in football league... The 19-year-old winger Portuguese João Félix became the fifth most expensive player in the history with transfer fee of €126m. The youngster joined Atletico Madrid from Benfica. He was the youngest player to score a hat trick in UEFA Europa league. French forward Antoine Griezmann has joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid for €120m. Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong joined Barcelona from Ajax for €75m. He was Europe’s most sought-after young player, with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in signing him. Ivan Perišić has got a transfer from Bayern Munich on a session long loan from Inter Milan. Perišić is a national player with most goals created at major tournaments.
