This week we introduce you to Simply Crazies or the mad bunch as they love to call themselves- who wants sane these days?
Right? Says the founder Mr Satish Behera, of Simply Crazies.
Gone are the days when we were obsessed with products which are basic and just functional. At Simply Crazies, they believe in making design affordable, functional and stylish.
Founded out of sheer passion for crafts by their founder, designer Mr. Satish Suman Behera. He is an Industrial Designer by profession with wide and varied industry and academic experience (IIT Grad, hellooo!!). He had this acute love for crafts which he felt is something worth harvesting specially from Odisha.
Being born and brought-up from a small town called Rourkela, today his “Innovation Lab”- that’s what they like calling their workshop supports women artisans directly and indirectly. “Maximum part of the product sales go to the artisans, so that they feel ownership for the products,” says Mr Behera.
They currently have a store in Bhubaneswar to showcase their products and are also available on Amazon. Otherwise you can reach them through their instagram page as www.instagram.com/simply.crazies
Their artwork is beautiful and meticulous using different Indian art techniques. Take a look at some of their products, we loved their notebook series!
