So when six years ago, Frozen danced its way into our, and our kids' hearts, it kind of became obvious that this movie too would have a sequel. And we are all delighted for that.
The second instalment may not be as heartwarming as the first one, but it surely is more stunning. The landscapes and characters are finely animated, this only shows the kind of hard work put into rendering and animation.
Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck make this story a bit more mature where Elsa not just has to accept her powers but also deliver her responsibilities. Arendelle is a happy place where everyone lives in joy and harmony. But Elsa keeps on hearing voices and ultimately starts off on a journey with Anna and Kristoff to get answers to questions about her family and past.
The music, until now, hasn’t been as popular as the first movie but it may catch up. Animation is just another game. Disney’s spectacular locales and character sketches are top notch.
This story is less about romance and more about human bonds. The story line is layered with humour which also has deeper meanings. Anna and Elsa once again would win your heart, Olaf would tickle you and Kristoff is a charm. Just wish he had more to offer than just support. Maybe in the third part.
