Yes, March 20 is the Day of Happiness and the world officially allows you to chill. But being a parent, it’s not easy to sit back and enjoy. Worry not, let’s find a few ways to slowly mingle happiness in our daily chores... Take a hobby Yes, the most important thing is to give time to yourself. Indulge in something you like, even if it’s only for a few minutes in a day and you will realise the transformation in you pretty soon. Exercise Regular exercise not only keeps your body fit and healthy, it also helps you to be happy. A fit body would keep you active throughout the day and you would feel energised and happy too. And who said only Pilates and Yoga are the exercises for you? You can dance your way to fitness as well. Walk Me-time is said to have done wonders to a lot of people, and what could be a better way to have some time to yourself than walk. Walking not only helps your body get in shape but also helps you relax. It’s this time when you can think and analyse about your days, purpose or just day dream. Socialise Call that friend of yours who have been longing to meet and go for a cup of coffee. Meeting people and socialising helps you rewind and relax. It’s always good to talk to friends and people you adore. Make sure to go out on a friends’ night once in a while, for your happiness’ sake. Sleep We can’t stress on this enough. And this is the most ignored aspect of our healthy life. The rested body and mind give you a lot of joy throughout the day. Be sure to go to bed on time and enjoy your sleep. Play with a kid or just play We tend to take our parenting job so seriously that we forget to have some fun with our kids. Playing with kids is the most relaxing thing ever. Just listen to them talk or play with their mindless games and you would see how rejuvenating it is!
