Covid 19 cases have crossed 2 million globally New York Even as the countries grapple with the pandemic, the coronavirus positive cases have crossed 2 million-mark. The United States continues to report the highest number of positive cases and deaths. More than 6,40,000 cases were reported while the country registered more than 28,000 deaths. The US president Donald Trump has stopped its aid to the World Health Organisation (WHO) saying that the agency supported China when it failed to report the virus at the early stage. China is also said to hide the actual figures of deaths and cases. Spain reported more than 1,80,000 cases with more than 18,000 deaths. Italy’s cases, though lesser than before, still stand at the third spot. The country reported more than 1,67,000 cases and 21,000 plus deaths. France too shows scary figures with more than 17,000 deaths and more than 1,37,000 deaths. Germany, the United Kingdom, Iran and Turkey’s cases have crossed 50,000.
