Delhi set to surpass Mumbai in Covid 19 cases Mumbai India saw a sudden spurt in Coronavirus cases post easing of lockdown. The Delhi government has to call in the army to contain the movements of people even as the national capital is set to surpass Mumbai in the number of positive cases. Mumbai has been registering the highest number of cases in the country since the outbreak of infections here. However, Maharashtra still has the highest number of infections in the country while Arunachal Pradesh reported its first death. Other than Delhi, states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu continue to witness a rise in the number of cases. The global cases have crossed well past 9.5 million with more than 4,00,000 reported deaths. The USA continues to report the highest number of infections. Brazil also crosses a million cases while Russia and India are close. Reckless Djoker Top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic announced he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus after he played in a series of exhibition matches he organized in Serbia and Croatia with zero social distancing amid the pandemic. Raising questions about the full-fledged return of tennis, including the U.S. Open planned for August, Djokovic is the fourth player to come down with COVID-19 after participating in matches held in Belgrade and Zadar, Croatia. The others were three-time Grand Slam semifinalist Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki.
