India crosses Russia in Covid 19 tally Mumbai Despite several efforts and strict rules, India has surpassed Russia to become the third most-affected country by Coronavirus infections in the world. While the lockdown rules stay relaxed, states like Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh continue to register new cases in almost thousands everyday. Mumbai though continues to stay on top of the list of most-affected cities, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai too are showing scary numbers. Worldwide the number of positive cases has crossed 12 million. The US stays on top with more than 30 lac cases. Brazil too has crossed a million cases. Brazilian President Jair Bolsnaro was tested positive last week, in a big setback to the morale of the country. While many other countries are trying to reopen tourism and travel industry, there are not many takers as people are cautious of any health related issues.
