Lewis Hamilton cruises to victory!
If anybody had a doubt, Lewis Hamilton has put them to rest.
World champion Lewis Hamilton cruised to victory from pole position at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This is his 11th win in season and 84th overall.
The six-time Formula One champion is now only seven wins behind seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher’s record of 91.
The Mercedes driver finished about 17 seconds ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in a race after starting from the Pole position.
Leclerc was third and just held off Hamilton’s teammate Valtteri Bottas, who climbed 16 places to fourth after starting last.
The average F1 crew takes about 3.0 seconds to change the tires. The fastest tire-change record was broken in 2016 when Massa's pit crew changed the tires in a record 1.92 seconds. They beat Red Bull who had held the record at 2.05 seconds.
