World has seen more than 5 million Covid cases already, India crosses 1 lac Mumbai The number of Coronavirus cases in the world has crossed the 5-million mark, even as India reported more than 1,00,000 cases. The United States, Russia, the UK, Spain, Italy and France continue to see cases rising. Death toll in America is as high as the positive cases in many countries. But more and more nations are now opening up the economy. Almost all 50 states of the US are ready to get back to business while Europe and the UK are already easing the lockdown. Austria is even thinking of opening up the tourism sector. In India, the lockdown was extended while easing up the method of movement and doing business. Each state has been given authority to deal with their own lockdown according to the number of reported cases. The government has also decided to restart domestic air travel while railways are already running on restricted mode. Businesses too have been advised to work taking all precautions.
